Museum of Stone or Ural Museum of Mineralogy

General Information
This is the first private Museum of Stone in the Ural region, which appeared as a consequence of a lifelong passion and fidelity to the beauty of the Ural stone of Vladimir Pelepenko. Almost 30 years of travelling all over the world had resulted in the unique collection of minerals, carved stones and bone works that originate from Russia, America, Asia and Africa. One can find about 10000 samples (900 types of minerals) and most of them are in an integral undamaged state and present a highly aesthetic outward. We hope that now you understand why our museum ranks as one of the best in Russia for its stone collections and truly there are only a few collections worldwide similar to ours.
