Brief Tour Info
This tour will allow you to penetrate into the tragic and catastrophic events of 1917-1918 that has lead to complete transformation of Russia`s past and present. You will visit the ex-site of Ipatyev House (a place of Romanovs imprisonment and brutal murder) that was turned into Cathedral on the Blood. Then departure and follow the route of the Bolshevik butchers to the thick forest and see monastery of Holy Majestic Martyrs at Ganya`s Pit - a place where Romanovs` bodies were supposedly burnt. Our tour will end at Romanov Memorial that commemorates a mine where remains of Romanov family have been found.
Tour Description
10:50 am - meeting at your hotel 11:00 am - departure with a bilingual guide 11:20 am - the first destination is the ex-site of Ipatyev House, where Romanovs were imprisoned and then brutally murdered by Bolsheviks 11:50 am - visit Cathedral on the Blood 12:15 am - departure and we follow the route of the Bolshevik butchers to the thick forest and see the place where Romanovs' bodies were mutilated 12:40 am - finally we arrive at the Monastery of Holy Majestic Martyrs at Ganya's Pit, find out all details of the bloody tragedy that took place 85 years ago, look at seven gorgeous wooden churches built without a single nail and pray at holy relics that belonged to Romanovs. 2:00 pm - departure and a 30 minute ride back to Ekaterinburg.
