The farm is located about 30 kilometers from Ekaterinburg city in a picturesque nature of Kashino village. Experienced Ural falconers devoted their lives to teaching different birds of prey and they will share their experience with you. The tour is full of interesting facts, different stories and falconry’s legends.

In Holzan you’ll meet endangered bird of prey’s species which entered The International Red Book. You’ll be surprised how a human and a bird of prey may be close to each other. You’ll get more pleasant impressions during a horseback riding accompanied by Urals wolfhounds. You may also try archery and feel deeply old-Russian hunting. Souvenirs and photos together with a falcon will be imprinted in your memory forever!

Tour Description
At the very beginning of the tour you’ll meet the Farm’s symbol – an eagle Holzan that named the Farm. Then you’ll see rare birds of preys from all Russia: Far-Eastern crested eagle, goshawks, falcons, and sapsans or peregrines falcons that are the fastest in the world. A bit later a sapsan will demonstrate its flying in the sky. Children will be surely carried away with snowy owl Hedwig that was a friend and a companion to a favorite children’s character Harry Potter. When a sapsan is getting ready for the flying, you are welcome to have a rest in summer house and try tea from Russian samovar. You’ll have a great opportunity to film a falcon sitting in your hand. A horseback riding will continue a pleasant day. Then you will be watching the film about our feathered friends in a comfortable hunter’s house. You can also buy some gifts and souvenirs there. The last but not least thing will be archery. You can make a competition together with your friends. Sorry, but it’s time going back to Ekaterinburg. Though you are living, you’ll keep that day in your memory!
