If you are in Ekaterinburg and you look for a good place to ski, not far from Ekaterinburg, you can choose Listvennaya Hill. There are two slopes which run west and east. One 250-meter trail, with 400-meter vertical drop is ideal for beginners and skiers with children. The second trail is steep at the top but slopes are gentle and turn to the bank of Pyshma River. This trail is 630 m long, vertical drop is about 70 m. Ski resort Listvenaya offers tubing run and two free of charge loop trails for cross-country skiing. This ski resort has been built lately so it’s not designed for overnight stop yet. Season lasts since mid November till mid April.
