A new building of Legislative Assembly is located on 10 Borisa Yeltsina Street.
Region Duma, House of Representatives, representatives and deputies of Legislative Assembly chambers, Representative in the Federation Council, Legislative Assembly machine and Chamber of Accounts are disposed there.

The building was made on a large scale, with luxury and pomposity. The construction began in June 2007 and finished in March 2009. On its construction was spent more than 1.5 milliard rubles. The new building has 8 floors (with total area - almost 20 000 square meter), 37 parking places, 6 elevators, 2 halls for plenary sessions, 4 halls for committee meetings, library (400 square meter), own television studio. The debating chamber has a balcony so that ordinary citizens can come and present at the meeting. On the 2nd and 3rd floors there are Chambers of Deputies, on 4th and 5th floors there are Houses of Representatives and Speakers are situated on the 6th and 7th floors.Journalists and presidium members also have personal rooms.

There is a VIP-hall (44,7 square meter) and the whole complex for custodial service on the ground floor. The building is only looks like a glass. It is protected from extraordinary situations: explosions (inside and outside of the building), fires and other accidents. The building is unique and differs from the prototype (as prototype was taken a Variety Theatre).
Under the documents its working lifespan is 50 years. The speaker of lower chamber said that this building belongs to the common property of the Sverdlovsk Region and its people.
